Obtaining a license requires submitting to Health Canada detailed information on the product, including:<\/p>\n<p>medicinal ingredients<br \/>\nsource<br \/>\npotency<br \/>\nnon-medicinal ingredients, and<br \/>\nrecommended use.<br \/>\nOnce a product license application has been assessed and granted market authorization by Health Canada, the product label will bear an eight-digit product license number preceded by the distinct letters NPN (Natural Product Number), or, in the case of homeopathic medicine, by the letters DIN-HM.<\/p>\n<p>The product license number on the label assures consumers that the product has been reviewed and approved by Health Canada for safety and efficacy.<br \/>\nSource: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/services\/drugs-health-products\/natural-non-prescription\/applications-submissions\/product-licensing.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/services\/drugs-health-products\/natural-non-prescription\/applications-submissions\/product-licensing.html<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of August 10th, 2019 Dermaflore have the NPN license.
